« Occupational Therapy relates not only to mobility as such but also to what mobility and agility represent; personality in action. »

Professor J. De Ajuriaguerra

After qualifying as an Occupational Therapist at the Swiss Romande school of Occupational Therapy in Geneva in 2002, I joined the team of specialists at the Service de Psychologie, Psychomotricité et Logopédie en milieu Scolaire (PPLS) in Morges. It was immediately evident to me how my work as an occupational therapist would be my way of contributing to the education and development of students in the regional schools suffering from anxiety, attention deficit and children on the Autism spectrum. I was able to help them gain a better understanding of their own personal resources and therefore encourage and empower them to become happier and more balanced.

In 2007, after completing a training in occupational therapy relaxation in Paris (ISRP) I developed new skills and techniques to bring together movement and breath in a manner that was efficient and helpful for teens and young adults undergoing high pressure episodes and stress.

For a number of years now I have worked with children. I find that this work is deeply fulfilling and rich as it gives me a chance to create a tangible link between the participants and to watch their energies bounce and feed off of one another. Being together in a space is an opportunity for each one of the children to meet and acknowledge the other as humans which are similar but also different and unique in so many wonderful ways.

Between 2016 et 2017, in order to deepen my practice I completed a training in group psychotherapy and psychodrama at the l’ARPAG (Association Romande pour la Psychothérapie Analytique de Groupe)

In 2017 I joined a team of freelance therapists in a space in Morges where I welcome children, families, teens and adults.

In October 2019 I left the PPLS departments in Morges to work for the Office Médico-Pédagogique in Geneva, working with children ages 5 to 12 in the medical centre.

At the same time I joined the team at Prana Santé to offer workshops in the discovery of occupational therapy for adults and children.
